Shipping

Delivery timeframes, order processing, pickup and delivery charges — everything you need to know about getting your order to you.

Last updated 5 November 2026

Free ongoing free shipping to Greater Sydney; limited-time promotions to other areas from time to time
0–3 days to process & dispatch in-stock orders
2–7 days metro delivery after dispatch for in-stock items

01 Shipping & freight

  • For most items, shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery postcode and cart, and the amount shown is the amount you pay.
  • Large or bulky items (for example baths and vanities), tiles and flooring delivered outside our free-shipping area require a freight quote. For these orders, the $1 shipping shown at checkout is a placeholder only — it is not the final freight cost.
  • After you place the order, our team will contact you with the actual freight cost for your address. We will not dispatch your order until you approve that cost. If you choose not to proceed, you will receive a full refund — no obligation.
  • Greater Sydney — ongoing free shipping. We offer standing free standard shipping to Greater Sydney and selected nearby regions on eligible orders. This is a permanent offer, not a limited-time promotion.
  • Other areas — occasional free-shipping promotions. From time to time we also run limited-time free-shipping promotions to additional areas. These are shown on site and at checkout for the promotion period only; eligible areas and dates may change, and they cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. MyHomeware reserves the right to make the final decision.

02 Standard delivery timeframes

Destination Delivery time after dispatch
Metro areas (all states) 2–7 business days
Regional areas (all states) 7–15 business days
Delivery timeframes are estimates calculated in business days from the date of dispatch, not from the date the order is placed, and apply to in-stock items. For backordered items, please see Section 07. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the courier and destination.

03 Order processing & delays

  • You'll receive an Order Confirmation Email as soon as your order has been successfully placed.
  • Please allow 0–3 business days for order processing. In most cases, in-stock orders are dispatched within the first 24 hours.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, we'll email you the tracking information.

Some delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control:

  • Public holidays, peak trading periods and major sale events may extend processing and delivery times. During Christmas and major sale periods, please allow extra time.
  • Exceptionally high order volumes may occasionally extend processing times.
Remote areas: Courier networks may have delivery limitations for some remote postcodes. Where door-to-door delivery is unavailable, your parcel may be delivered to a local depot or Australia Post outlet, and you'll be notified when it is ready for collection.

04 Additional delivery charges

Additional charges beyond the standard delivery fee may apply where:

  • Stair or lift access is required — for example, where the delivery point is not directly accessible or goods need to be carried up stairs. Additional charges may apply due to the extra labour and time required.
  • The delivery location is difficult to access, or two or more people are required to complete the delivery safely.
Any additional charges are assessed on a case-by-case basis, quoted and agreed with you before we proceed, and billed on a separate invoice. No surprises.

05 Missed deliveries

  • If nobody is available at the delivery address during the agreed delivery window, a redelivery fee may apply.
  • Any additional charge will be communicated to you and agreed before a second delivery attempt is arranged.
  • Please ensure that you or an authorised person is available at the delivery address during the agreed delivery window.

06 Pickup

  • We'll prepare your order as soon as possible and email you a notification with your booking number and collection details once it is ready.
  • Please wait until you receive this confirmation email before coming to collect your order.

07 Out-of-stock & backordered items

Stock levels can change quickly, and occasionally an item may show as available but sell out shortly after your order is placed. If this happens, we'll email you and provide the following three options:

  • Cancel backordered items We'll remove the unavailable items and dispatch the remaining in-stock items as soon as possible.
  • Cancel the whole order Choose immediate store credit or a refund.
  • Wait for replenishment We'll hold your order until the backordered items arrive.
For backordered items, the 365-day return period begins on the date you receive the item — not the original purchase date.

Toilet Flush Buttons FAQs

Is it easy to replace a toilet flush button?

Yes, replacing a button for toilet is generally straightforward. Most buttons are designed for easy disassembly. Simply remove the cistern lid, unscrew or unclip the old button, and fit the new one. Just ensure you select a compatible size and rod length for a proper fit.

What would cause a push button toilet not to flush?

A push button toilet may fail to flush due to a disconnected or broken flush rod, a worn-out internal mechanism, or a low water level in the cistern. Build-up of limescale or debris can also affect performance. Regular maintenance and prompt replacement of faulty parts restore smooth flushing.

How to repair a bathroom flush button?

A bathroom flush button can fail for a few common reasons.

  • If the button sticks, remove the lid and clean around the button to clear dirt or limescale.
  • If it feels loose, tighten or refit the plastic clips behind it.
  • When the loo flush button does nothing, the internal rod may be misaligned. Just adjust it so it touches the flush valve properly.

How do I know which toilet flush button to buy?

Check cistern compatibility: Match your toilet brand/model and measure the cistern lid hole.

Choose flush type: Dual-flush for water saving, single flush for simplicity.

Pick shape & finish: Round or square, in chrome, black, gold, nickel, etc.

Consider accessibility: Larger or raised buttons suit kids, seniors, and accessible bathrooms.

Look for durability: Quality ABS or metal finishes, Watermark-certified for reliability.

In-Wall Cistern Buttons FAQs

How to open a wall mounted toilet flush button?

To open a wall-mounted flush button, gently press and slide or lift the button plate, depending on the model. Most designs are clip-on and can be removed tool-free. Always check the manufacturer’s instructions to avoid damaging the flush plate or access panel.

Why is the flush button not working on my wall mounted toilet?

If the flush button isn’t working, the issue may be a disconnected or damaged actuator, a faulty flush valve, or a problem with the in-wall cistern mechanism. Check if the button feels loose or stuck. Removing the flush plate allows access to inspect internal components.

Can I replace the flush button on a flush myself?

Yes, in most cases, you can replace a flush button yourself. Wall-mounted buttons are typically clip-on and easy to remove. Ensure you choose a compatible replacement that matches your in wall cistern model. Turn off the water supply before installation and follow the manufacturer's guidelines.

Do toilet flush buttons fit all cistern brands?

No, toilet flush buttons are not always universally compatible. They are often designed to work with specific in-wall cistern systems like Geberit, R&T, or Fienza. Always check compatibility before purchasing a replacement to ensure proper fit and function with your cistern model.
