Laundry Tapware - macho

A laundry typically needs a sink mixer tap or wall-mounted tap set for washing tasks, and washing machine taps for appliance connection. Depending on your setup, you may also use pull-out mixers or spring sink mixers for greater reach, making rinsing and cleaning large items easier.

The best material for laundry taps is solid brass or stainless steel with a PVD or electroplated finish. These laundry taps offer durability and corrosion resistance, while finishes like chrome, brushed nickel, or matte black protect against wear, stains, and rust, ensuring long-lasting performance even in high-moisture laundry environments.

When you buy a laundry faucet, please consider:

Material: Choose durable brass or stainless steel.

Functionality: Look for swivel or pull-out spouts for flexibility.

Water Efficiency: Ensure a WELS rating of 4 stars or higher.

Cartridge Type: Ceramic disc cartridges for smooth, drip-free use.

Finish: Pick rust-resistant coatings like chrome or PVD for easy cleaning and lasting shine.

1. Turn off the water supply and open existing taps to release pressure.
2. Remove old taps carefully using a wrench.
3. Clean pipe threads and apply plumber’s tape.
4. Attach new tap fittings securely.
5. Reconnect hoses, ensuring a watertight seal.
6. Turn on the water and test for leaks or proper flow.

It's best to have a professional plumber install the laundry tapware to ensure proper operation.
