📐 Choose the Correct Trap for Your Toilet Suite
The set-out (rough-in) distance determines which trap you need. This is the measurement from the finished wall or floor to the centre of the waste outlet.
Tip: Ensure you measure from the tiled surface, not the bare slab or skirting board.
P-Trap (Wall Outlet)
Suitable for: Waste pipe that goes directly into the back wall.
S-Trap (Floor Outlet)
Suitable for: Waste pipe located in the floor.
