Premium Material

Durable Porcelain Construction

Crafted from porcelain, this basin provides a strong and dependable surface designed for daily bathroom use. Its smooth glazed finish creates a polished appearance while helping make routine cleaning and maintenance easier.

The quality ceramic body delivers a refined feel that suits both residential bathrooms and considered ensuite renovations.

Statement Finish

Striking Black Interior Detail

The deep black interior creates a bold visual contrast against the basin’s clean exterior, turning an everyday wash area into a distinctive design feature.

This two-tone look pairs beautifully with black tapware, brushed metallic finishes and natural stone or timber vanity benchtops.

Elevated Installation

Above Counter Vessel Design

Designed to sit directly on top of the vanity benchtop, the basin creates a layered and elevated look that gives the wash zone more visual presence.

The above counter configuration works across a variety of vanity finishes and allows the basin’s smooth oval silhouette to remain fully visible.

Refined Proportions

Soft Oval Profile for Modern Vanities

Measuring 475mm long, 340mm wide and 130mm high, the basin offers a practical wash area while maintaining a compact footprint on the benchtop.

The gently rounded oval form softens the look of straight-lined cabinetry and stone surfaces, helping create a balanced and inviting bathroom setting.

Note: This basin features no overflow. Select suitable tapware for an above counter basin and pair it with a compatible non-overflow pop-up waste. Pop-up waste and tapware are not included; confirm benchtop cut-out, spout reach and plumbing requirements before installation.

01 Shipping & freight

For most items, shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery postcode and cart, and the amount shown is the amount you pay.
Large or bulky items (for example baths and vanities), tiles and flooring delivered outside our free-shipping area require a freight quote. For these orders, the $1 shipping shown at checkout is a placeholder only — it is not the final freight cost.
After you place the order, our team will contact you with the actual freight cost for your address. We will not dispatch your order until you approve that cost. If you choose not to proceed, you will receive a full refund — no obligation.
Any free-shipping offer is a limited-time promotion shown on site and at checkout. It cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. MyHomeware reserves the right to make the final decision.

02 Standard delivery timeframes

Destination	Delivery time after dispatch
Metro areas (all states)	2–7 business days
Regional areas (all states)	7–15 business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates calculated in business days from the date of dispatch, not from the date the order is placed, and apply to in-stock items. For backordered items, please see Section 07. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the courier and destination.

03 Order processing & delays

You'll receive an Order Confirmation Email as soon as your order has been successfully placed.
Please allow 0–3 business days for order processing. In most cases, in-stock orders are dispatched within the first 24 hours.
Once your order has been dispatched, we'll email you the tracking information.

Some delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control:

Public holidays, peak trading periods and major sale events may extend processing and delivery times. During Christmas and major sale periods, please allow extra time.
Exceptionally high order volumes may occasionally extend processing times.

Remote areas: Courier networks may have delivery limitations for some remote postcodes. Where door-to-door delivery is unavailable, your parcel may be delivered to a local depot or Australia Post outlet, and you'll be notified when it is ready for collection.

04 Additional delivery charges

Additional charges beyond the standard delivery fee may apply where:

Stair or lift access is required — for example, where the delivery point is not directly accessible or goods need to be carried up stairs. Additional charges may apply due to the extra labour and time required.
The delivery location is difficult to access, or two or more people are required to complete the delivery safely.

Any additional charges are assessed on a case-by-case basis, quoted and agreed with you before we proceed, and billed on a separate invoice. No surprises.

05 Missed deliveries

If nobody is available at the delivery address during the agreed delivery window, a redelivery fee may apply.
Any additional charge will be communicated to you and agreed before a second delivery attempt is arranged.
Please ensure that you or an authorised person is available at the delivery address during the agreed delivery window.

06 Pickup

We'll prepare your order as soon as possible and email you a notification with your booking number and collection details once it is ready.
Please wait until you receive this confirmation email before coming to collect your order.

07 Out-of-stock & backordered items

Stock levels can change quickly, and occasionally an item may show as available but sell out shortly after your order is placed. If this happens, we'll email you and provide the following three options:

Cancel backordered items We'll remove the unavailable items and dispatch the remaining in-stock items as soon as possible.
Cancel the whole order Choose immediate store credit or a refund.
Wait for replenishment We'll hold your order until the backordered items arrive.

For backordered items, the 365-day return period begins on the date you receive the item — not the original purchase date.

Returns & refunds Our full returns terms — including the 365-day return window, restocking fees and custom-order exclusions — are available on our dedicated policy page. Read the Returns & Refund Policy →

Porcelain Basins FAQs

What is better, a ceramic or porcelain sink?

Porcelain sinks are generally denser, stronger and more resistant to scratches and stains compared to standard ceramic basins. They offer a smoother, harder finish, ideal for long-term bathroom use and high-traffic households seeking both durability and refined aesthetics.

How long does a porcelain sink last?

A quality porcelain sink can last several decades with proper care. Its non-porous surface resists wear, moisture and colour fading, allowing it to maintain its smooth finish and elegant appearance even after years of daily use.

Are porcelain basins easy to clean?

Yes. Porcelain basins feature a naturally smooth, non-porous surface that resists soap scum, dirt and hard-water deposits. Most cleaning routines only require mild detergent and a soft cloth, making them a low-maintenance choice for busy households.

Do porcelain basins crack easily?

Porcelain basins are fired at very high temperatures, giving them excellent strength and resistance to everyday impact. While no basin is completely unbreakable, quality porcelain models at MyHomeware are highly durable and rarely crack under normal bathroom use.

How do I choose the right porcelain basin?

When choosing a porcelain basin, consider:

Shape: Oval for softness, square for structure, round for compact spaces, or special shapes for artistic flair.
Size: Match the basin dimensions to your vanity width and bathroom layout.
Style: Choose colours and finishes that complement your tapware and décor.
Use needs: Deeper basins suit family bathrooms; compact ones fit powder rooms.
Installation type: Ensure the basin aligns with your bench cut-out or countertop design.
