01 Shipping & freight

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery postcode and the items in your cart.
  • Tiles & flooring are quoted separately — freight is confirmed by our team before your order. Any free-shipping offer on tiles & flooring is a limited-time promotion shown on site and at checkout.
  • Large items to some regions are also quoted separately. Start a Live Chat (chat icon, bottom right) or contact our team and we'll confirm the freight cost before you order.
  • Any free-shipping offer is a limited-time promotion shown on site and at checkout. It cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. MyHomeware reserves the right to make the final decision.

02 Standard delivery timeframes

Destination Delivery time after dispatch
Metro areas (all states) 2–7 business days
Regional areas (all states) 7–15 business days
Delivery timeframes are estimates calculated in business days from the date of dispatch, not from the date the order is placed, and apply to in-stock items. For backordered items, please see Section 07. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the courier and destination.

03 Order processing & delays

  • You'll receive an Order Confirmation Email as soon as your order has been successfully placed.
  • Please allow 0–3 business days for order processing. In most cases, in-stock orders are dispatched within the first 24 hours.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, we'll email you the tracking information.

Some delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control:

  • Public holidays, peak trading periods and major sale events may extend processing and delivery times. During Christmas and major sale periods, please allow extra time.
  • Exceptionally high order volumes may occasionally extend processing times.
Remote areas: Courier networks may have delivery limitations for some remote postcodes. Where door-to-door delivery is unavailable, your parcel may be delivered to a local depot or Australia Post outlet, and you'll be notified when it is ready for collection.

04 Additional delivery charges

Additional charges beyond the standard delivery fee may apply where:

  • Stair or lift access is required — for example, where the delivery point is not directly accessible or goods need to be carried up stairs. Additional charges may apply due to the extra labour and time required.
  • The delivery location is difficult to access, or two or more people are required to complete the delivery safely.
Any additional charges are assessed on a case-by-case basis, quoted and agreed with you before we proceed, and billed on a separate invoice. No surprises.

05 Missed deliveries

  • If nobody is available at the delivery address during the agreed delivery window, a redelivery fee may apply.
  • Any additional charge will be communicated to you and agreed before a second delivery attempt is arranged.
  • Please ensure that you or an authorised person is available at the delivery address during the agreed delivery window.

06 Pickup

  • We'll prepare your order as soon as possible and email you a notification with your booking number and collection details once it is ready.
  • Please wait until you receive this confirmation email before coming to collect your order.

  • Cancel the whole order Choose immediate store credit or a refund.

Accessible Toilets - FAQs

Who qualifies for a disabled toilet?

Disabled toilets are designed for people with mobility impairments, disabilities, or conditions that make standard toilets difficult to use.
This includes wheelchair users, people using mobility aids, and those with temporary injuries or chronic illnesses affecting movement.
In public spaces, they must comply with accessibility standards to ensure safe, comfortable use.

What are the rules for disabled toilets in Australia?

In Australia, disabled toilets must meet AS 1428.1 standards. These outline layout, seat height, clearances, grabrail positioning, proper disabled toilet backrest height, and flushing control placement.
A clear disabled toilet sign should also be displayed to indicate accessibility. The goal is to ensure the toilet is safe, accessible, and usable for people with various mobility needs in public buildings, workplaces, or care facilities.

Can non-disabled people use a disabled toilet?

In emergencies, non-disabled people may use a disabled toilet suite. However, they are primarily intended for those with disabilities or mobility challenges who require the extra space and support features.
Unnecessary use can make it harder for someone who genuinely needs it to access the facility when required.

How does a disabled person get on a toilet?

Accessible toilets are set up to allow safe side or front transfers from a wheelchair or mobility aid. Drop-down grabrails on both sides provide stability during the transfer, and a seat height of 460–480 mm reduces effort when sitting or standing.
Clear floor space allows easy positioning of mobility aids, while backrests offer additional support. Some users may need a carer’s assistance, especially for steadying or adjusting mobility equipment.
