Infinity Racetrack Oval Porcelain Art Basin 475mm — Wood Grain
Bring the warmth of natural timber texture to your vanity in a material that performs like ceramic with the Infinity Racetrack Oval Porcelain Art Basin (475×340×130mm). The wood grain pattern fired into the porcelain surface replicates the linear grain, tonal variation, and organic character of natural timber — without the maintenance demands that real timber in a wet bathroom environment would require. Paired with the racetrack form — an elongated oval with straight parallel sides and rounded ends that sits distinctly between a standard oval and a rectangle — this basin combines a pattern that references natural materials with a shape that is contemporary and precise.
Wood Grain on Porcelain — Timber Warmth Without Timber Maintenance
The wood grain pattern on this basin uses the ceramic firing process to render the linear grain structure, knot detail, and tonal variation of natural timber in a porcelain surface that is non-porous, stain-resistant, and impervious to moisture. The result is a basin that references the warmth and organic character of timber — a material that resonates strongly in bathroom design — without any of the practical limitations that real timber in a wet environment would introduce: no sealing, no swelling, no moisture damage, and no fading from water or cleaning product contact.
The wood grain pattern is most effective in bathrooms that incorporate natural material references — timber joinery, rattan or woven accessories, stone or terrazzo surfaces, and warm neutral wall tones where the grain pattern of the basin contributes to a coherent natural material narrative rather than appearing as an isolated decorative choice.
Racetrack Oval — A Shape Between Oval and Rectangle
The racetrack form — defined by two straight parallel sides connected by semicircular ends — is a distinct geometric option that occupies the space between a standard elliptical oval and a rectangular basin. At 475mm long and 340mm wide, the proportions are elongated and precise: the straight sides give the form a structured, considered quality that a fully curved oval does not have, while the rounded ends prevent the hard-edged severity of a rectangular basin. The wood grain pattern running along the length of the basin aligns naturally with the directional geometry of the racetrack form, reinforcing the horizontal emphasis of the design.
The racetrack shape suits vanity configurations where a sense of considered proportion and geometric precision is a design priority — contemporary bathrooms with clean-lined joinery, linear tapware handles, and tile formats that reinforce the horizontal rhythm of the space.
Porcelain Ceramic — Above Counter, No Tap Hole
Manufactured from porcelain ceramic, the basin body is dense, non-porous, and resistant to thermal shock, surface scratching, and staining under normal bathroom conditions. The wood grain pattern is fired into the gloss porcelain surface — integral to the material depth and consistent in character, without the risk of peeling or fading that a surface-applied decoration would carry over time. At 6.7kg, the basin is lightweight relative to stone alternatives and straightforward to handle during installation.
Above counter installation presents the full racetrack form above the benchtop — no cutout required beyond the waste connection point. No tap hole is pre-drilled; pair with a wall-mounted mixer or a deck mixer on the vanity top. No overflow is included. Compatible with a standard 32mm pop-up waste (not included).

01 Shipping & freight
- For most items, shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery postcode and cart, and the amount shown is the amount you pay.
- Large or bulky items (for example baths and vanities), tiles and flooring delivered outside our free-shipping area require a freight quote. For these orders, the $1 shipping shown at checkout is a placeholder only — it is not the final freight cost.
- After you place the order, our team will contact you with the actual freight cost for your address. We will not dispatch your order until you approve that cost. If you choose not to proceed, you will receive a full refund — no obligation.
- Any free-shipping offer is a limited-time promotion shown on site and at checkout. It cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. MyHomeware reserves the right to make the final decision.
